Every morning, two little children wait near the door for their father.

So far, he has already undergone several treatments, and the doctors have recommended an urgent treatment plan that includes:

• 6 cycles of chemotherapy

• Radiotherapy

• Immunotherapy

• Possible surgery depending on how his body responds

Each treatment is crucial. Any delay could make Mintu’s condition worse. But the biggest challenge now is not just the disease, it is the cost of saving his life.

His family has already spent many lakhs on hospital stays, tests, medicines, and initial chemotherapy. To continue treatment, they need much more. For a daily wage worker’s family, this amount is impossible to arrange.

He was the only earning member of the family. Now, with him hospitalised, the income has completely stopped. His wife is trying to stay strong, but the reality is overwhelming. To manage the expenses, the family has already taken loans from relatives and friends. Every day, the debt grows heavier.

But the most heartbreaking part is watching the children ask the same question again and again:

"When will Papa come home?"

Their father is still fighting. He wants to recover. He wants to go back home.
