My voice has always been my identity. Today, even breathing feels like a struggle.
My name is Abhineet Sarkar, and I am a 32-year-old voice-over artist. Recording voiceovers for commercial advertisements is not just my profession; it is my passion. My voice has always been the way I connect with the world and support my family.

But today, the very thing that defines me is under threat.
For months now, I have been struggling with severe breathing issues, constant shortness of breath, and unbearable throat pain. Some days, it becomes so difficult that I cannot even breathe properly through my nose. The infection in my sinuses has made even simple things like breathing, sleeping, or speaking feel exhausting.

After searching for answers, I travelled to Dr Rao’s ENT Super Speciality Hospital in Hyderabad, where doctors diagnosed me with chronic maxillary sinusitis. They explained that the infection in my sinuses has become severe and that the only solution is surgery.
The doctors have advised that I urgently undergo Septoplasty along with FESS (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery) and Adenoidectomy in a single procedure. They also warned me that as I grow older, my nasal passage could become narrower, making the condition far more serious if I delay the surgery.
While I am trying to stay strong, my family has already been through a lot.
My father was the only earning member of our family until he retired from his government job in 2019. Soon after that, our lives were turned upside down by medical emergencies. During an angioplasty procedure, my father suffered a heart attack and needed a pacemaker, followed by treatment for a lung infection.
Just when we were trying to recover from that shock, my mother had to undergo knee replacement surgery in November 2024.
These treatments drained all our savings.
Today, our family survives on my father’s pension, which barely covers our daily expenses. With nothing left for my treatment, arranging lakhs for my surgery has become impossible for us.
I never imagined that one day I would have to ask for help like this.
All I want is a chance to breathe normally again. I want to return to my work, use my voice again, and support my family the way I always have.
But right now, I cannot do it alone.

Please support my treatment by donating on ImpactGuru and sharing my story. Your kindness can help me undergo the surgery I urgently need and give me a chance to live a healthy, normal life again.
Every contribution brings me one breath closer to recovery.
