My daughter is just 2 years old. At this age, her world should be filled with toys, laughter, and tiny footsteps running around the house. Instead, her days are filled with pain, injections, and hospital visits.
Manvita was our miracle, our happiest blessing. Her laughter would light up our entire home. But today, that laughter has faded into silent tears.
It started with constant weakness, then fever that wouldn’t go away. I remember holding her in my arms, feeling helpless as her tiny body grew weaker each day. When we rushed her to the hospital, I prayed it was something simple.
But then the doctors said a word no parent is ever ready to hear—leukemia.
My world shattered in that moment.
My little girl is now fighting B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, an aggressive blood cancer. She struggles to even stand… her body too weak… her eyes filled with pain I cannot take away.
Every time she cries during chemotherapy, I feel like my heart is breaking into pieces. I wish I could take her pain instead.
The doctors say she needs immediate and continuous treatment—6 months of chemotherapy and 2 years of follow-up. It’s her only chance to survive.
We have already spent everything we had. We sold our jewellery, took loans, and borrowed from everyone we know. But this fight is too big for us alone.
As a mother, there is nothing more painful than watching your child suffer and not being able to save her.
