Every parent dreams of their child growing up, going to school and becoming something in life. I have that dream for Anvit too. I want my son to grow up and become a doctor but....
My little Anvit, at just 1 year 10-months old, should be learning to walk and speak not fight for his life in an ICU!
Anvit is battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a high-risk blood cancer. What started as a simple fever since the 7th of February 2026, turned into a nightmare I never imagined.
Anvit is now experiencing low hemoglobin (HB) and a high temperature (fever).
Today, my little boy lies surrounded by machines in the ICU, he has to be constantly monitored as he has to go through painful intensive chemotherapy. He cries, he struggles and I can do nothing but hold his tiny hand and pray.
Doctors have told me that a Bone Marrow Transplant within 1–2 weeks is his only chance to survive. “It is urgent and life-saving”, said the doctors.
As his father, I am his only source of support. My son’s treatment comes at a hefty cost. From hospital stay to immunosuppression as well. I have already spent ₹8–10 lakhs by taking loans and selling our gold. Now, I am preparing to sell even our land.
But it’s still not enough. My little boy needs lakhs more.
