My son, Aryan, is only 4 years old. Just a few days ago, he was a little boy who should have been playing, laughing, and enjoying his childhood. Today, he lies in the PICU, fighting for his life, while I stand helplessly beside him, praying that I don't lose my child.

It all began with a fever. I never imagined that something so common could turn into a nightmare for our family. When we got him tested the next day, the doctors confirmed that he had dengue. Soon, his condition worsened, and he began vomiting blood.

His illness has now affected his lungs and liver, and the swelling has spread to his brain. My little boy has been in the ICU for 10 days, receiving oxygen support as doctors try to save his life.

Every time I look at Aryan lying in that hospital bed, my heart breaks. He is so small, yet he is going through so much pain. When he says he wants to go home, I wish I could take him back, hold him close, and make everything alright. But I cannot. All I can do is watch over him and pray that he gets better.

I am terrified of what tomorrow might bring. The thought of losing my son leaves me shattered. I keep wondering how I would ever survive if he were no longer with us. His younger brother is just 3 years old. Both my children need me, and all I want is to bring Aryan home safely.

My husband works as a daily-wage farm labourer, earning around ₹500 a day when work is available. I am a homemaker, and our family's limited income is nowhere near enough to afford the treatment Aryan needs. With doctors expecting him to stay in the hospital for another 3–4 weeks, the expenses are beyond what we can manage.

I am a mother who is desperately trying to save her child, but I cannot do this alone.

Please help us afford Aryan's life-saving treatment. Every contribution, no matter how small, can bring us closer to giving our little boy another chance at life.

How can I track the impact of my donation?

Generally, most campaigners are reminded to leave updates on their fundraiser regarding the progress of their cause, whether it’s a nonprofit project or the health of a patient. You will get an email every time an update is posted. Alternately, you can use the "Contact campaigner" option on the fundraiser page to directly get in touch with the campaigner and understand how your donation benefited them.

Once the requirement of this patient will be met, any remaining funds will ultimately go towards helping other needy patients in line with Impact Guru's mission of helping save as many lives as possible.

For all medical fundraisers, the funds will be directly transferred to the hospital’s account. Only in a few cases, based on Impact Guru’s discretion, the funds might be transferred to the campaigner or the patient’s account for postoperative or at home expenses.

In cases, where the funding requirement of the patient changes due to factors such as death, change of treatment plan on advice of hospital, delay in treatment, medical complications, Impact Guru utilizes the funds to help similar patients with the mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
