One-year-old Vikram Adhithya was a cheerful, curious baby—always crawling and walking around the house, always trying to imitate the adults around him. For his parents, he was not just their first child but the centre of their world after three years of marriage.

On the evening of 26th November 2025, everything changed within seconds.
While playing near the staircase at home, Adhithya slipped and fell. The impact was severe. His mother still remembers the moment she heard the noise.
“I heard him cry once… and then suddenly he went silent. I ran to him and saw him lying still. I can’t forget that sight,” his mother says, her voice trembling.

He was rushed to the hospital, where the doctors diagnosed him with Polytrauma and a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury, one of the most dangerous conditions in infants. The medical team performed an emergency surgery the very next day, 27th November 2025, to save his life.
Now, Adhithya remains in the PICU, fighting to recover. The doctors have advised further PICU stay, continuous monitoring, and further treatment to stabilise his condition.

His father, who works at a local laundry service and earns a few thousand per month, is unable to meet the mounting hospital bills. Every day, he stands outside the PICU praying for his son.
“I’m doing everything I can… but my income isn’t enough for this treatment. I just want my son to come back home healthy,” he says, trying hard to stay strong.

The parents have no financial support to fall back on. Their savings—small but meaningful—are already exhausted. They are terrified that a lack of money might come in the way of their child’s survival.
“He is our first baby… we waited for years to hold him. Please help us save him,” the mother pleads.
Little Adhithya’s life is hanging in the balance. With timely support, he can recover and return to the safe, loving home he once knew.
