My name is Shanti Padyar, and today I reach out with a heart full of hope and desperation to save my beloved husband, Ravi Padyar. He has always been a pillar of strength for our family, but life has dealt him yet another devastating blow. Ravi is now battling severe kidney failure, and without continuous treatment, his life is at grave risk.
Ravi’s journey with illness began years ago. In 2011, he underwent a liver transplant at the Liver Institute of Biliary Sciences Hospital, New Delhi. It was a grueling journey where we spent nearly ₹34 lakhs on his treatment. Through sheer determination, support from family, and the blessings of well-wishers, Ravi recovered and continued to live with hope.
But today, fate has tested us again. His kidneys have now failed, and he is undergoing regular dialysis to survive. Doctors have strongly advised that he will soon need a kidney transplant, which is his only chance to live a normal life again.
The estimated cost of his ongoing treatment and transplant is around ₹10 lakhs. Until now, I have managed to spend ₹4 lakhs from my personal savings and with the help of kind relatives. But today, my resources are completely exhausted. As his wife, watching him endure this endless battle while being unable to arrange the funds has left me helpless and heartbroken.

रवि की बीमारी की यात्रा कई साल पहले शुरू हुई थी। 2011 में, उन्होंने लीवर इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ बिलियरी साइंसेज़ हॉस्पिटल, नई दिल्ली में लीवर ट्रांसप्लांट करवाया था। वह एक बेहद कठिन दौर था, जिसमें हमने लगभग ₹34 लाख उनके इलाज पर खर्च किए। परिवार, शुभचिंतकों और उनकी अपनी हिम्मत की बदौलत वे स्वस्थ होकर जीवन में आगे बढ़े।
लेकिन आज किस्मत ने हमें फिर से परखा है। उनकी किडनियां अब फेल हो चुकी हैं और उन्हें ज़िंदा रहने के लिए नियमित डायलिसिस कराना पड़ रहा है। डॉक्टरों ने स्पष्ट कहा है कि उन्हें जल्द ही किडनी ट्रांसप्लांट की आवश्यकता होगी, जो उनके जीवन को बचाने का एकमात्र उपाय है।
उनके इलाज और ट्रांसप्लांट का अनुमानित खर्च लगभग ₹10 लाख है। अब तक मैंने अपनी निजी बचत और रिश्तेदारों की मदद से ₹4 लाख का खर्च उठाया है। लेकिन आज मेरी सारी आर्थिक क्षमता समाप्त हो चुकी है। पत्नी होने के नाते, अपने पति को इस तरह लगातार संघर्ष करते देखना और पैसे न जुटा पाने की मजबूरी मुझे बेहद असहाय और दुखी कर देती है।
