Urgent Appeal for Help – My Wife Himanshi Mamtani is Fighting for Her Life
My name is Dinesh Mamtani, and I am writing this with deep pain, hope, and a sincere request for help. My wife, Himanshi Mamtani, is currently fighting for her life in the hospital after suffering from a sudden and severe medical emergency.
She has been diagnosed with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), a life-threatening condition in which the lungs are unable to provide enough oxygen to the body. This condition is extremely critical and requires intensive care support.
Her illness began as a severe respiratory infection, which later worsened and was complicated by swine flu (H1N1 influenza). Despite immediate medical attention, her condition deteriorated rapidly. Within a short period of time, she went from being conscious and stable to requiring emergency ICU admission and advanced life support.
Today, Himanshi is in a critical state, receiving treatment in the ICU under constant monitoring. She is on oxygen support/ventilator assistance (as advised by doctors), and the medical team is doing everything possible to stabilize her condition. Every single day in the ICU is crucial for her survival.
The doctors have informed us that her recovery will require prolonged intensive care, specialized treatment, medications, ventilator support, and continuous monitoring. The estimated cost of treatment is around ₹30 lakhs, which is far beyond my financial capacity.
I have already exhausted all my savings and resources in arranging her initial treatment. I have also reached out to family and close friends, but the expenses of ICU care are rising every day, and I am now unable to manage further costs alone.
Himanshi is not just my wife—she is my life partner, my strength, and the heart of our home. She is a kind, loving, and selfless person who has always stood by everyone in times of need. Seeing her in this condition has been the most painful experience of my life, and I am not ready to give up on her.
We still have hope. The doctors have said that with continued intensive treatment and proper support, recovery is possible—but time and resources are critical right now.
That is why I am humbly reaching out to you. I am requesting your support in this extremely difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in saving her life.
