My name is Ganesh Roy, and I am raising funds for my daughter, Manisha Roy, a 17-year-old girl who is fighting for her life after a devastating road accident.
On 27th June 2026, after completing her Kabaddi practice session, Manisha was walking home on the road with two of her friends when a speeding mini truck suddenly came from behind and hit them.
The accident was extremely tragic — one of her 16-year-old friends lost his life on the spot, while Manisha suffered severe injuries and was immediately rushed to Nemcare Hospital, Hengerabari, Guwahati, Assam, where she is currently admitted in the ICU on ventilator support.
Manisha is battling multiple life-threatening injuries, including multiple fractures, spinal injuries, and paralysis on the left side of her body. Her lungs had collapsed due to the accident, and she requires prolonged ICU care under close medical supervision. The doctors have advised urgent spine surgery followed by brain surgery to give her the best possible chance of recovery.
The journey ahead is long and challenging. Her ICU treatment alone costs around ₹70,000–₹80,000 per day, and the expenses for surgeries, medicines, hospitalization, and post-operative care are increasing every day.
So far, our family has already spent approximately ₹3,50,000 on her emergency treatment. However, we need around ₹15,00,000 to continue her life-saving treatment and help her recover.
As a family, we are doing everything we can to save Manisha, but the financial burden has become too difficult to manage alone. We are reaching out to kind-hearted people for support during this critical time.
