When 13-year-old Arpita first noticed painful swelling near her neck, her family never imagined it would turn their lives upside down. After several medical tests in July 2025, they heard the heartbreaking words no parent is ever prepared for: Relapsed T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a severe form of blood cancer.

“I still remember how tightly my daughter held my hand when doctors told us about her illness,” says her mother with tears in her eyes. “She is just a child who loves drawing and going to school. She should be worrying about homework and colors, not chemotherapy and hospital beds.” Arpita, a bright 8th standard student, immediately began intense chemotherapy sessions from August 2025 to February 2026. Just when the family thought she was slowly recovering, their worst fear came true. In March 2026, the cancer relapsed. Since then, Arpita has already undergone two more chemotherapy sessions along with three blood and platelet transfusions.

Today, she remains admitted to the Wockhardt Hospital, courageously fighting this painful disease every single day.

Her family has already spent nearly Rs. 20 lakhs to keep her treatment going. They emptied their personal savings, borrowed money from relatives and friends, used Rs. 10 lakhs from medical insurance, and even sold their gold just to save their daughter’s life. But now, they have reached a point where arranging more funds has become impossible. Despite her pain, Arpita still dreams of returning to school and drawing again like every normal child her age.

Her parents are doing everything they can, but they cannot win this battle alone anymore.

Your small contribution can help Arpita continue her treatment and give her another chance at life. Please donate and stand beside this young girl in her fight against cancer.

This campaign for a single patient can be converted into a multi-patient campaign, subject to the performance of this campaign. Once the funding requirement of a specific patient is met, multiple other beneficiaries can be helped through Impact Guru.

Generally, most campaigners are reminded to leave updates on their fundraiser regarding the progress of their cause, whether it’s a nonprofit project or the health of a patient. You will get an email every time an update is posted. Alternately, you can use the "Contact campaigner" option on the fundraiser page to directly get in touch with the campaigner and understand how your donation benefited them.

Once the requirement of this patient will be met, any remaining funds will ultimately go towards helping other needy patients in line with Impact Guru's mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
