Hi, I am Twinkle Agarwal. On October 18th, my real brother, Dhruv Agarwal, was involved in a devastating road accident caused by the negligence of a government roadways bus. He was on his way home from Noida to Agra to celebrate Diwali with our family when this tragedy struck.
Initially, Dhruv was rushed to City Hospital, Mathura, for first aid. However, due to his critical condition, he had to be immediately transferred to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Delhi, where he continues to fight for his life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Dhruv has sustained multiple severe injuries:
- A fractured cervical spine (neck)
- Multiple facial fractures, including broken jawbones, nasal bones, and orbital bones (bones around the eyes)
- Broken teeth and complete jaw reconstruction surgery
- A fractured left arm with metal plates inserted
Currently he is unable to breathe, speak, or even swallow on his own. So far, our family has spent ₹35 lakhs on his treatment, surgeries, and critical care. However, his condition remains serious, and doctors have advised several more procedures and prolonged ICU care. We urgently need to raise ₹10 lakhs more to continue his treatment and give him a fighting chance at recovery.
Dhruv is not just a patient on a hospital bed - he is a son, a brother and a bright young man who had dreams, laughter and love to share. We are doing everything we can, but we cannot do it alone.
