Mayuresh is in the ICU today, a ventilator doing the work his lungs can no longer manage alone. The boy who once spent his days learning the craft of a garage, hands greased, dreams quietly forming, now lies still, surrounded by machines.
Just months ago, in January 2026, his family thought it was a stubborn fever. A cold that wouldn't leave. A cough that lingered too long. But when the doctors found water filling his chest and a lump pressing deep within it, their world collapsed in a single afternoon.
Mayuresh was soon diagnosed with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma.
What is T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma?
Your body has white blood cells called T-cells that help fight infections.
In this disease, some very immature T-cells (called lymphoblasts) start growing out of control and don’t work properly.
12 rounds of chemotherapy. Twelve times his mother sat beside him, holding a hand she once held when he was a child learning to walk. But this mother carries her own invisible weight, for the past 2 years, she is fighting breast cancer herself. She is still on maintenance therapy, still healing, still standing.
His father welds metal for a living. ₹500/day. He wakes before sunrise, works until his hands ache, and then rushes to Sahyadri hospital. His 24-year-old daughter studies B Pharmacy and she just wants to see her brother overcome cancer.
Mayuresh completed his 12th standard and chose to learn. He trained at his uncle's garage, building something with his own hands, quietly becoming someone. That chapter now sits painfully on pause.
The road ahead is six to seven more months of chemotherapy. Long, brutal, expensive months for a family already running on empty.
Two patients. One household. One welder's wage holds everything together.
Mayuresh is not just fighting cancer. He is fighting for the right to grow up, to go back to that garage, to make his parents proud in the way only a son who has suffered can.
He just needs the chance to survive long enough to try.

In cases, where the funding requirement of the patient changes due to factors such as death, change of treatment plan on advice of hospital, delay in treatment, medical complications, Impact Guru utilizes the funds to help similar patients with the mission of helping save as many lives as possible.

We reserve the right to conduct physical visits and/or photo/ video verification as deemed necessary. Such verification measures may apply not only to patients but also to vendors, medical institutions, and other relevant parties, as applicable.
