He still draws. Even now, between hospital visits and chemotherapy cycles, Arush Singh picks up a pencil and makes something out of nothing. He is five years old, and he still believes the world is full of colour.

One month ago, his parents didn't know their son had Stage IV Neuroblastoma. What started as leg pain and a persistent fever, things parents often chalk up to a growth spurt or a passing virus, turned into a diagnosis that changed everything overnight. The cancer had already spread. There was no gentle way to receive that news.
Arush is in his second cycle of chemotherapy now. Seven more cycles remain. Blood transfusions have already been done multiple times. His little body, the same one that runs and draws and laughs, is being pushed through one of the hardest fights a child can face. He is currently in the hospital ward, holding on.

His father, Yogendra, works in an IT company and earns ₹70,000 a month. For the past month, he hasn't stepped into office once. He cannot. His son needs him there. With no income coming in, the family has already spent ₹7 lakhs, pulling from personal savings, borrowing from friends and relatives, taking loans, and leaning on whatever insurance would cover.
At home in Nagpur, Arush's mother waits with their four-year-old daughter, holding the family together from the other end. They came to this city for work. They did not come prepared for this.

Yogendra and his wife married in 2019, dreaming of an ordinary life. A roof, two children, enough. Arush was in Class 1 when this began. He should be learning to read and draw better, not learning what a chemo ward looks like.

After chemotherapy, Arush will need immunotherapy. The road ahead is long, and the family has nearly nothing left to walk it with.
He still draws. That small, stubborn hope is everything.
Your support can help keep that pencil in his hand.

You need not wait for donor or have the organ ready. We actually suggest you start a fundraiser as soon as you can so that you are ready with the acquired funds and can get the surgery done immediately when you do receive an organ.
Generally, most campaigners are reminded to leave updates on their fundraiser regarding the progress of their cause, whether it’s a nonprofit project or the health of a patient. You will get an email every time an update is posted. Alternately, you can use the "Contact campaigner" option on the fundraiser page to directly get in touch with the campaigner and understand how your donation benefited them.
Once the requirement of this patient will be met, any remaining funds will ultimately go towards helping other needy patients in line with Impact Guru's mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
For all medical fundraisers, the funds will be directly transferred to the hospital’s account. Only in a few cases, based on Impact Guru’s discretion, the funds might be transferred to the campaigner or the patient’s account for postoperative or at home expenses.
In cases, where the funding requirement of the patient changes due to factors such as death, change of treatment plan on advice of hospital, delay in treatment, medical complications, Impact Guru utilizes the funds to help similar patients with the mission of helping save as many lives as possible.
90%+ of Impact Guru’s campaigns raise funds leveraging our do-it-yourself fundraising platform.
The Accelerate initiative of Impact Guru caters primarily towards those individuals who are unable to create or manage their own fundraiser due to lack of education, access to smartphones, or social networks for fundraising support. Impact Guru provides fundraising support in such cases by maximizing outreach, leveraging all fundraising channels. In order to provide crucial life saving support to such patients, Impact Guru charges marketing cost paid to such third parties and its regular platform and payment gateway fees. Impact Guru's constant endeavour is to reduce such outreach costs to maximize social impact of every contribution.
