Support My Mother, Jayati, in Her Cancer Treatment

My mother, Jayati, is currently undergoing treatment for advanced liver cancer.

This diagnosis came as a shock to our family, especially because she had already fought and overcome breast cancer two years ago. After completing her treatment and recovery, we hoped that chapter was behind us. Unfortunately, she has now been diagnosed with Hepatocellular Carcinoma (Liver Cancer) and requires immediate treatment.

Based on the treatment plan advised by her doctors, she will undergo 6 cycles of immunotherapy along with targeted radiation therapy. The treatment is expected to continue over the coming months and involves significant medical expenses, including medication, hospital visits, investigations, and supportive care.

I am the sole earning member of my family with a monthly income of ₹48,000. While I am doing everything possible to support my mother's treatment, the overall cost is beyond what I can manage on my own.

আমার মা, জয়তী, বর্তমানে অ্যাডভান্সড লিভার ক্যান্সারের চিকিৎসা নিচ্ছেন।

এই রোগ নির্ণয় আমাদের পরিবারের জন্য একটি বড় ধাক্কা ছিল, বিশেষ করে কারণ তিনি দুই বছর আগে স্তন ক্যান্সারের সাথে লড়াই করে তা জয় করেছিলেন। তাঁর চিকিৎসা এবং আরোগ্য লাভের পর, আমরা আশা করেছিলাম যে সেই অধ্যায়টি শেষ হয়েছে। দুর্ভাগ্যবশত, তাঁর এখন হেপাটোসেলুলার কার্সিনোমা (লিভার ক্যান্সার) ধরা পড়েছে এবং তাঁর অবিলম্বে চিকিৎসার প্রয়োজন।

তাঁর ডাক্তারদের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী চিকিৎসা পরিকল্পনা অনুসারে, তিনি টার্গেটেড রেডিয়েশন থেরাপির সাথে ৬টি সাইকেল ইমিউনোথেরাপি নেবেন। এই চিকিৎসা আগামী মাসগুলোতেও চলবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে এবং এর সাথে উল্লেখযোগ্য চিকিৎসা খরচ জড়িত, যার মধ্যে রয়েছে ওষুধপত্র, হাসপাতালে যাওয়া-আসা, বিভিন্ন পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষা এবং সহায়ক পরিচর্যা।

আমি আমার পরিবারের একমাত্র উপার্জনকারী সদস্য এবং আমার মাসিক আয় ৪৮,০০০ টাকা। যদিও আমি আমার মায়ের চিকিৎসার জন্য সম্ভাব্য সবকিছুই করছি, কিন্তু মোট খরচ আমার একার পক্ষে বহন করা সম্ভব নয়।
