My younger brother met with a major road accident on 14th April 2026. Since that day, our family has been fighting the toughest battle of our lives.
He was first admitted to Tata Main Hospital with multiple life-threatening injuries, including:
- Severe pneumothorax (collapsed lungs)
- Fractures in his left hand and right leg
- Both tibia bones are severely damaged
- Critical abdominal injury
After further investigations, doctors discovered that his small intestine had burst internally due to the trauma. An emergency laparotomy surgery was performed on 16th April, and since then he has remained on ventilator support.
Unfortunately, the infection could not be controlled and gradually spread throughout his body, leading to:
- Severe abdominal sepsis
- Blood infection (sepsis)
- Liver and kidney damage
- Lung complications, including pneumonia and fluid accumulation
- Brain oedema (swelling in the brain)
As his condition became more critical, our family made the difficult decision to shift him to CMRI CK Birla Hospitals on 20th April for advanced treatment and critical care support.
Even after aggressive treatment, his condition remained unstable. Doctors had to perform a second laparotomy surgery, during which approximately 3 inches of his small intestine had to be removed and rejoined.
On 4th May, doctors discovered another intestinal leakage along with severe bile leakage complications. A third emergency laparotomy was performed, and a stoma surgery had to be done to save his life.
Today, my brother remains in critical condition in the ICU after more than 20 days of continuous treatment. He is battling:
- Severe abdominal sepsis
- Multiple organ complications
- Lung infections and pneumothorax
- Brain edema
- Liver and kidney damage
- Multiple fractures
- Long-term recovery complications
He is only 21 years old, the only son and the strongest support of our small family of four. Watching him fight for every breath is heartbreaking for us.
The treatment expenses have already crossed ₹30 lakhs, with approximately ₹25 lakhs currently pending at the hospital. Doctors have informed us that his recovery may take several more months, and the total estimated cost of treatment and rehabilitation may reach ₹45 lakhs.
Our family has exhausted all savings and resources. At this point, we are humbly requesting your support.

मेरे छोटे भाई का 14 अप्रैल 2026 को एक भीषण सड़क दुर्घटना में निधन हो गया। उस दिन से हमारा परिवार जीवन की सबसे कठिन लड़ाई लड़ रहा है।
उन्हें सबसे पहले टाटा मेन अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां उन्हें कई जानलेवा चोटें आईं, जिनमें शामिल हैं:
फेफड़ों का गंभीर रूप से सिकुड़ जाना (न्यूमोथोरैक्स)
बाएं हाथ और दाहिने पैर में फ्रैक्चर
दोनों टिबिया हड्डियां बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त
पेट में गंभीर चोट
आगे की जांच में डॉक्टरों ने पाया कि आघात के कारण उनकी छोटी आंत अंदर से फट गई थी। 16 अप्रैल को आपातकालीन लेप्रोस्कोपी सर्जरी की गई और तब से वे वेंटिलेटर पर हैं।
दुर्भाग्यवश, संक्रमण को नियंत्रित नहीं किया जा सका और धीरे-धीरे पूरे शरीर में फैल गया, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप निम्नलिखित समस्याएं हुईं:
गंभीर पेट का संक्रमण
रक्त संक्रमण (सेप्सिस)
यकृत और गुर्दे की क्षति
निमोनिया और द्रव जमाव सहित फेफड़ों की जटिलताएं
मस्तिष्क में सूजन (ब्रेन एडिमा)
उनकी हालत और गंभीर होने पर, हमारे परिवार ने 20 अप्रैल को उन्हें उन्नत उपचार और गहन देखभाल सहायता के लिए सीएमआरआई सीके बिरला अस्पताल में भर्ती कराने का कठिन निर्णय लिया।
गहन उपचार के बाद भी उनकी हालत अस्थिर बनी रही। डॉक्टरों को दूसरी लैपरोटॉमी सर्जरी करनी पड़ी, जिसके दौरान उनकी छोटी आंत का लगभग 3 इंच हिस्सा निकालना पड़ा और फिर से जोड़ना पड़ा।
4 मई को, डॉक्टरों ने गंभीर पित्त रिसाव की जटिलताओं के साथ-साथ एक और आंत रिसाव का पता लगाया। उनकी जान बचाने के लिए तीसरी आपातकालीन लैपरोटॉमी की गई और स्टोमा सर्जरी करनी पड़ी।
आज, मेरे भाई 20 दिनों से अधिक के निरंतर उपचार के बाद आईसीयू में गंभीर हालत में हैं। वह इन गंभीर समस्याओं से जूझ रहा है:
पेट में गंभीर सेप्सिस
कई अंगों में जटिलताएं
फेफड़ों में संक्रमण और न्यूमोथोरैक्स
मस्तिष्क में सूजन
यकृत और गुर्दे की क्षति
कई फ्रैक्चर
दीर्घकालिक उपचार संबंधी जटिलताएं
वह केवल 21 वर्ष का है, इकलौता बेटा और हमारे चार सदस्यीय छोटे परिवार का सबसे मजबूत सहारा है। उसे हर सांस के लिए संघर्ष करते देखना हमारे लिए दिल दहला देने वाला है।
इलाज का खर्च पहले ही ₹30 लाख से अधिक हो चुका है, जिसमें से लगभग ₹25 लाख अभी भी अस्पताल में बकाया हैं। डॉक्टरों ने हमें बताया है कि उसके ठीक होने में कई और महीने लग सकते हैं, और उपचार और पुनर्वास की कुल अनुमानित लागत ₹45 लाख तक पहुंच सकती है।
